Mahbub Morshed made chief editor of BSS

Journalist Mahbub Morshed has been appointed as managing director and chief editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS).

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification on Saturday (August 17) appointing him to the post.

It says that Mahmub Morshed has been appointed as the managing director and chief editor of BSS for the next two years from the date of his joining.

Other conditions of the appointment will be determined by the approved appointment letter. The order will be effective for the public interest as soon as possible. 

Earlier, the contractual appointment of BSS managing director and chief editor Abul Kalam Azad was cancelled on the same day.
