AKM Shahid Uddin made Dhaka Wasa new MD

Engineer AKM Shahid Uddin, deputy managing director of Dhaka Wasa, has been selected the company's new managing director.

He was appointed to the post on Thursday afternoon after Wasa's former managing director Taqsem A Khan resigned from his post.

According to Wasa sources, Taqsem A Khan sent his resignation letter to the ministry on Wednesday citing physical illness.
