Dhaka WASA MD Taqsem A Khan resigns

Dhaka WASA managing director (MD) Taqsem A Khan has resigned from his post. 

He sent his resignation letter via an email on Wednesday (August 15).

In the resignation letter, Taqsem Khan stated that he was unable to continue his duty as managing director due to his illness, according to the WASA sources.
Taqsem was first appointed as the managing director of Dhaka WASA in 2009. His tenure was extended multiple times, with the latest extension in August of last year, when he was appointed for the seventh time for an additional three years.
