Md Mohiuddin Ahmed, chairman of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), has resigned from his position citing health issues.

He submitted his resignation letter to the Secretary of the Posts and Telecommunications Division on Wednesday afternoon.

Md Mohiuddin Ahmed had been serving as the Chairman of BTRC since December 14, 2023.
