Acting chief prosecutor among 4 more resign

Four more prosecutors, including the acting chief prosecutor, have resigned from their respective posts at the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT).

With them, a total of eight prosecutors have resigned.

The prosecutors who resigned today are Syed Haider Ali, Adv Rana Dashgupta, Adv Jahid Imam and Barrister Sheikh Moshfeq Kabir.
Confirming the matter on Tuesday morning, Masud Rana, the Prosecution Administrative Officer of the ICT, said Shahidur Rahman, Abul Kalam Azad, Rezia Sultana Chomon and Altaf Uddin Ahmmed resigned from their posts as prosecutors at the ICT on Monday morning.

He also added that Jahid Imam and Sheikh Moshfeq submitted their resignation letters on Monday night, while acting Chief Prosecutor Rana Dashgupta and Syed Haider Ali submitted their resignations on Tuesday morning.
