BWAB blames ABB, BAB for deplorable banking sector

Bankers' Welfare Association Bangladesh (BWAB) on Monday blamed Association of Bankers Bangladesh (ABB) and Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB) for the deplorable situation in the banking sector bedecked with huge nonperforming loans over the years.

Speaking at a rally in the city BWAB President and Former MD and CEO, Mutual Trust Bank PLC Kazi Md. Shafiqur Rahman demanded immediate measure to salvage the banking sector for the sake of sustainable economic growth of the country.
