Remove IDRA Chairman, reinstate SLI board: Employees

Terming the Chairman of Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA) as corrupt and harmful for insurance industry, executives and employees of Sonali Life Insurance Company on Sunday demanded his immediate removal from the regulatory body.

They also demanded immediate withdrawal of the Administrator, appointed by IDRA months back to Sonali Life, reinstate of the Sonali Life board of directors and withdrawal of cases, lodged by IDRA against the Directors of Sonali Life. 

They allege that instead of promoting welfare to the company, the Administrator has done everything possible to destroy the emerging and fastest growing company. 
They formally handed over a set of demands including demand for resignation of IDRA Chairman and removal of Administrator staging demonstration at IDRA office premises at the city's Dilkusha area.
