KU teachers demand politics-free campus

Teachers of Khulna University (KU) on Monday demanded politics-free campus in order to build a corruption free anti-discrimination society.

They made the demand in a sit-in demonstration at Shaheed Hadi Chattar (Premises) of KU. Among others, Prof Dr Md Yasin Ali of Agro technology Discipline, Prof Dr Md Abdullah Yousuf Al Harun of Environment Science and Discipline, spoke. Teachers of different discipline attended the event, reports BSS.

The speakers said politics-free campus is now essential for building a corruption and discrimination free society.

Through the hands of these brilliant and indomitable students, we will be able to build a new Bangladesh and create a good image of the country abroad, the speakers added.

Later, a rally paraded from Shaheed Hadi Chattar to Shaheed Tazuddin Ahmed administrative building in the campus.
