A legal notice has been sent to former Justice A.H.M. Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik, demanding a public apology for his inappropriate behavior during a talk show where he allegedly referred to the host, Dipti Choudhury, as "child of a Razakar."
The incident occurred during a discussion on the quota reform movement, where Justice Manik reportedly lost his temper and directed derogatory remarks towards the host.
The notice was issued on Sunday by senior lawyer Fauzia Karim Feroze on behalf of Foundation for Law and Development (FLAD). The notice not only demands a public apology but also insists that Justice Manik issue a written apology to Dipti Choudhury.
Fauzia Karim Feroze confirmed the issuance of the notice to media on Monday. The notice further warns that if Justice Manik fails to apologize both publicly and in writing, legal action will be taken against him.
