The axis of monsoon troughs runs through Punjab, Hariyana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal to Assam across central part of Bangladesh. One of its associated troughs extends up to Northwest Bay.
Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and weak to moderate elsewhere over North Bay.
Country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 34.1 degrees Celsius at Faridpur and minimum temperature Monday was 24.5 degrees Celsius at Sylhet.
Maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6am today was recorded 112 millimeters (mm) at Feni.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
