Attorney General Md Asaduzzaman said the High Court Division needs reform like the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court.

"There will be no syndicate in the judicial department," the newly appointed attorney general came up with the comment while talking to reporters at his Supreme Court chamber on Saturday.

"I don't even think that there will be any interference in the High Court. Let us know if anyone is involved in syndication. Action will be taken as soon as informed," he warned. No one, not even the Law Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul's enemies will believe that he can do anything illegal, the AG said.

The chief law officer of the state Asaduzzaman said, "The Chief Justice has already taken charges and we believe that the newly appointed Chief Justice will play his due role to uphold the image and dignity of the judiciary and ensure justice for all."

Many deputies, assistant attorney generals have resigned, many rooms are locked, when asked what to do in this case, he said that he would solve this problem very quickly.

When asked about the irregularities in the judiciary, the Attorney General said the spirit of the second Liberation War of Bangladesh is against irregularities.

"People are standing against all these irregularities and lawlessness. I hope that the interim government will move forward to establish people's rights influenced by the hope of the people," he said.

In response to another query, the Attorney General said the High Court Division needs to be reformed like the Appellate Division to fulfil the people demands and ensure fair trial.
