The portfolios of the newly sworn-in advisers were announced on Sunday afternoon.
A notification, issued by the Cabinet Division, mentioned that Bidhan Ranjan Roy has been assigned as the adviser to the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, while Supradip Chakma as the adviser to the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs.
President Mohammed Shahabuddin administered the oath of office while Chief Adviser to the Interim Government Dr Muhammad Yunus witnessed the ceremony at Durbar Hall of the Bangabhaban in the capital on Sunday.
Earlier, 13 out of 17 members of the advisers' council of the interim government took oath on Thursday last.
Another adviser Navy Commando and valiant Freedom Fighter Farooq-e Azam, Bir Pratik, could not take oath as he was outside of the capital by now.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned and left the country on August 5, coinciding with the ‘Long March to Dhaka’ called by the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement. The cabinet was dissolved shortly afterwards.
