SM Moniruzzaman new chairman of Ctg Port

Rear Admiral SM Moniruzzaman has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Chattogram Port Authority.

A notification issued in this regard on Wednesday.

He will replace the current chairman, Rear Admiral M Sohail.

Commodore SM Moniruzzaman served as Commander of Bangladesh Navy fleet (COMBAN).

Prior to this appointment, he also served as the managing director (MD) of the Bangladesh Shipping Corporation.

SM Moniruzzaman joined the Bangladesh Navy in 1988 as a cadet officer.

Later, he was commissioned in the Executive Branch in 1990.
