The Bangladesh A team will leave the country on August 10 for a bilateral series in Pakistan as per the revised itinerary.

The cricketers were scheduled to reach Islamabad on August 6 but following the unrest in the country, their journey was delayed.

The Bangladesh A will play two four-day and three-day one-day game against Pakistan A, which is known as Pakistan Shaheens, in the tour, reports BSS.

All of the matches will be held in Islamabad. The first four-day game is slated for August 13-16 while the second game is from August 20-23, as per revised itinerary.

The three one-day matches are scheduled to be held on August 26, 28 and 30.

The A team's tour will coincide the Bangladesh national team's tour in Pakistan for a two-match Test series. The national team will leave the country on August 17 with the first Test starting from August 21 in Rawalpindi. Karachi will host the second and final Test from August 30.

Meanwhile, the cricketers returned to their usual business after a turmoil period in the country.

"The cricketers are happy to be back on the field. We hope the practice of the national team will also start tomorrow," said Shahriar Nafees, the in-charge at Cricket Operations.

"It was a concern to start our practice in this state of the country. Due to the situation in the country, we could not understand the condition of our facilities. Groundsmen could not work. Today we came and saw that our ground was fixed by the groundsmen. We have started the practice. Hopefully tomorrow the national team can start the practice."

"The members of the coaching staff of the Bangladesh team have been at available since August 1. They are waiting for practice to start. They will be present if we can start practicing."
