TANGAIL, Aug 7: After being closed for two days, Tangail Sadar Police Station was reopened in presence of the coordinators of the Anti-discrimination Student Movement on Wednesday evening.

Officials from the district administration, and police administration were presenr at the time. Later, the police personnel at the station resumed their activities.

It has been learned that after Sheikh Hasina's resignation on Monday afternoon, protesters carried out attacks and vandalism in various places in the district.
