Man hacked dead in Feni

A man reportedly hacked to death in Feni Sadar upazila on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Peyar Ahmed, 46, of Jahanpur village under Sharshadi union in the upazila. 
According to locals, Peyar used to run a shop in the village and an activist of Awami League. At around 11am on Tuesday, a group of miscreants attacked on his shop and kidnapped him along with his son Kawser to a nearby farm. 

However, the son managed to escape from the scene, Peyar was hacked to death by the attackers.

Subsequently, relatives recovered the body from the spot after being informed.
