Six die as hotel set on fire in Jashore

At least six people died and 20 others were injured after unidentified miscreants set fire to a hotel owned by a local leader of Awami League (AL) in Jashore on Monday afternoon.

The hotel named Zabeer International is owned by District Awami League (AL) General Secretary Shaheen Chakladar, according to local sources.
Assistant Director of Jashore Fire Service Station M Mamun said that the fire broke out at the hotel at around 4 pm on Monday and the blaze was not completely under control till 7 pm.

Harun Or Rashid, supervisor of the Jashore General Hospital, said they found six bodies from there.
