After the fall of Sheikh Hasina-led Awami League government, agitating protesters entered into the National Parliament and vandilised several establishments on Monday.

Following the sabotage, students have launched a cleanup operation around 2pm on Tuesday.

However, many involved in the cleaning efforts claimed that they had started working earlier in the morning.

By 4pm, several hundreds of students were seen at the Parliament building wielding brooms, shovels, and trash bags, cleaning the front and surrounding areas of the parliament. However, as the main building remained closed, they were unable to clean the interior.

Prior to this, curious onlookers were gradually cleared from the parliament premises, and the gates were shut.
