1,000 BNP-Jamaat men get bail

A court in Dhaka on Tuesday granted bail to more than one thousand leaders and activists of BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami who were arrested in a sabotage case centering Quota Reform Movement.

Earlier this morning, a petition was filed with a Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Court. After hearing, the court granted their bail.

BNP standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi and Jamaat-e-Islami secretary general Miah Golam Mia Golam Porwar were among the others.
