Around Tk 5cr recovered from Amir Hossain Amu's Jhalakati house

Police have recovered a luggage full of money of around Tk five crore from the residence of Amir Hossain Amu, lawmaker from Jhalakati-2 constituency.

At about 12:30am on Tuesday, Fire Service members went to the house Amu on Ronalse Road of Jhalakati city to douse the fire as protesters set fire on his house. Then they found the luggage full of money there and informed the matter to police and Bangladesh Army.

Later, members of army and police recovered the luggage.
