Miscreants set fire to over 50 Awami League (AL) offices and 100 vehicles in Khulna City on Sunday during the mayhem.
Over 100 AL men including Khulna City Unit AL General Secretary (GS) MBA Babul Rana and Juba League GS Sheikh Shahjalal Sujon critically injured.
City AL leaders blamed BNP and Jamaat-Shibir for the arson attacks and destruction.
Khulna City Unit AL GS MBA Babul Rana, City Juba League GS Sheikh Shahjalal Sujon and District Chhatra League President Pervaz Alam were under treatment in a city hospital.
Besides, the arsonists attacked about 25 police boxes and Zilla Parishad Office of Khulna.
They also launched attacks on the houses of AL leaders including Sheikh Helal Uddin, MP, and Sheikh Salahuddin Juwel, MP, and Mayor Talukder Abdul Khaleque.
