Thousands of protesters are marching towards the Central Shaheed Minar as part of their previously announced programme by the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in protest against the recent attacks on protesters.
Students from Dhaka College, City College, and Dhanmondi Ideal College blocked Science Lab intersection and later started procession towards the Shaheed Minar. During that time, they were chanting slogans in support of their demands.
They are holding the programme in protest against the attacks, killings, and violence against student and citizen movements across the country and to press home their nine-point demand.
Meanwhile, students of BRAC University and East West staged demonstration blocking Badda-Rampura road. Later, other students from different institutions joined with them with small processions. At that time, more than fifty policemen of Badda Police Station moved from the road. At 2pm, the protesters took position in front of BRAC University.
