Awami League has become detached from people: Fakhrul

The ruling Awami League has become detached from people, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said.

He made the remark while speaking at a press conference at the party chairperson's political office at Gulshan in the capital on Wednesday afternoon. 
At that time, Mirza Fakhrul said: "The present Awami League doesn't have any similarity with the previous Awami League. People have no relation with the present Awami League."

The BNP Secretary General also criticised the government for blaming BNP centering the quota movement of students .

He also demanded withdrawal of curfew immediately.
