NATORE, July 14: A seminar on Legal aid matter was held in the Skylight Hall Room of Kadirabad Cantonment area in the district on Wednesday.
The Department of Law and Justice of Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Technology (BAUET)-Kadirabad Cantonment organized the seminar. Brigadier General Md Mizanuzzaman, vice-chancellor of BAUET, presided over the seminar.
Amlan Kusum Zishu, senior district and sessions judge and chairman of the District Legal Aid Committee-Natore was present as the chief guest at the seminar.
Tasmina Nusrat, a student of Batch- 9 of the Department of Law and Justice of the university presented events at the seminar.
Professor Dr Muhammad Shahidul Islam, dean and head of the law and justice department of the BAUET gave the welcome speech.
Md Shamsul Al-Amin, joint district and sessions judge, Ismat Ara Tushi, district legal aid officer (Senior Assistant Judge) and Fatematuz Zohora, assistant judge, gave lectures on the topic.
