The quota protesters started their march from Dhaka University (DU) at 12noon on Sunday as per their previous announcement to press home their one-point of reforming the quota system in government jobs.

Since 11am, students, carrying placards, with small processions from different institutions have gathered in front of the Arts Faculty and started march from there towards Bangabhaban to place a memorandum to the President regarding the issue.
Jagannath University and students of seven colleges under the Dhaka University Affiliation joined the procession.

The students will parade through Shahbagh, Matsya Bhaban and Jatiya Press Club before reaching  Bangabhaban.
The leaders of 'quota-reform movement' announced the march programme on Saturday evening and gave a 24-hour ultimatum to withdraw the case filed against them.

Earlier on Friday night, a case was filed over the alleged attack on police at Shahbagh in Dhaka during a blockade by the quota protesters.
