Slow internet likely for 12 hrs today

Bangladeshi internet users might experience temporary slowdowns or interruptions on Saturday as maintenance work is underway on the SEA-ME-WE 4 submarine cable located at Coxs Bazar. 

According to a press release from the Bangladesh Submarine Cable Company Limited (BSCCL) issued on July 12, the disruption is expected to last for 12 hours, from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. 

Circuits linked via the SEA-ME-WE 4 cables will be partially inaccessible on Saturday, reads the press release.     —UNB
