Bangladesh will start their campaign in the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) U-20 Championship' 2024 taking on Sri Lanka on August 20 at the Dashrath Stadium in the Nepalese capital Kathmandu.
The six-nation regional youth soccer meet will kick-off on August 18 at the Dashrath Stadium in Kathmandu with hosts Nepal taking on Sri Lanka in the opening match at 4 pm local time.
Bangladesh, which was put in three-team Group A with Sri Lanka and hosts Nepal, will play Nepal on August 22 at 4pm (local time) in their remaining group match, reports UNB.
Defending champions India, which was placed in Group B with Bhutan and the Maldives, will play their first match on August 19 at the same time and same venue.
After the group matches, top two teams from each groups will play in the semifinals at the same venue.
Group A champions will face Group B runners-up in the first semifinal on August 25 at 5:30 pm local time while Group B champions will meet Group A runners-up in the 2nd semis on August 26 at the same time.
The final match will be held on August 28 at the same time and same venue.
