A total of 120 to 140 Buet students came together in front of Buet Shaheed Minar and formed a human chain around 12:30 pm on Tuesday.

They issued a press statement regarding the anti-quota movement.

"Once 30% Freedom Fighter quota was reasonable as the freedom fighters went through a very hard situation during and post-war period. But their successor s didn face the same hardship. So it is important to reform the quota system considering the situation," the release reads.
