National Pension Authority inks MoU with 7 banks

National Pension Authority has signed a Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with seven banks for accelerating the activities of universal pension scheme (UPS).
 
The seven banks are - Bangladesh Krishi Bank, Janata Bank PLC, Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank, Prime Bank PLC, Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC, Eastern Bank PLC and Mutual Trust Bank PLC.

The MoU would enable the seven banks to collect monthly installments from pension holders under Universal Pension Scheme.
Finance Secretary Dr Md Khairuzzaman Mozumder attended the event as the chief guest while managing directors and chief executive officers of the seven banks and senior officials of the National Pension Authority, among others, were present on the occasion.
