Road accidents leave 2 dead in Chuadanga


Two motorcyclists were killed and another was injured in separate road accidents in Chuadanga Sadar upazila on Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Raj, 18, from Madrasapara area in Chuadanga municipality, and Mukul Hossain, 50, son of Nur Islam from Boaliya village under Chuadanga Sadar upazila.
Locals said there was a collision between a bus of 'Royal Paribahan' and a motorcycle driven by Raj in Boalmari area of the Sadar upazila around 4:45pm, leaving him dead on the spot.

Sajib, who was a pillion rider, sustained injuries in the accident.

Moreover, motorcyclist Mukul died in a collision between two bikes in Kiran Gachhi area under the Sadar upazila around 9pm.

Sheikh Sekendar Ali, an inspector of Chuadanga Sadar police station confirmed the accidents adding that legal actions will be taken.
