2 children go missing in Ctg Fishery Ghat canal

Two children went missing after they fell into the Fishery Ghat canal in Chattagram’s Firingi Bazar on Tuesday.

The identities of the two children could not be known immediately.
Lamarbazar Fire Station station leader Mohammad Afzal Khan said being informed by local people around 4:45 pm, fire service divers rushed to the spot and started rescue operation.

However, no trace of children was found  till the filling of this report.

According to locals, the children went to the canal to take bath and were washed away.

An elderly man tried to save them but failed, they said.
