CHATTOGRAM, June 6: The Institute of River, Harbour and Environmental Science and the Civil Engineering Department of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) collaborated to host a seminar on "Sanitation for Urban Low-Income Communities" on Thursday in the universitys academic seminar room.
CUET Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Rafiqul Alam was present as the chief guest while Institute of River, Harbour and Environmental Science director Prof Dr Asiful Haque presided over the event.
A total of 60 students of Civil Engineering Department of CUET participated in the seminar.
Dean of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering Professor Dr Sudip Kumar Pal, Head of Department of Civil Engineering Prof Dr Ayesha Akhtar, Civil Engineering Department Prof Dr Swapan Kumar Palit, Research Officer of International Training Network BUET Azizur Rahman were present on the occasion.
End of the event, certificates were distributed among the students.
