The Rotary Club of Dhaka PathFinders has initiated an educational sponsorship programme for 26 students of Mojar School - an award-winning, sustainable education endeavour. Members of the Rotary Club of Dhaka PathFinders presented a sponsorship cheque to Mojar School in the presence of the sponsored students.

This sponsorship marks a significant step in empowering under-privileged, street-kids through education as the club is taking guardianship of these 26 underprivileged children for 3 years.

Since the beginning in 2013, Mojar School, an initiative of the Odommo Bangladesh Foundation, has been working dedicatedly to make "Street Child Free Bangladesh."

The organization provides quality education, food, skills development and capacity enhancement training along with employment opportunities to the underprivileged children, youth, and community people.

The Rotary Club of Dhaka PathFinders, part of Rotary International, expressed their commitment to the cause through direct sponsorship of the students at the Agargaon branch of the school on Saturday as well as long-term partnership in capacity building through regular sessions to be conducted by the club members and other networking opportunities.

It is not a one-off support, rather a continued, sustainable way to enrich the future of these kids, the club mentioned.

Ms. Tabassum Hossain Tina, president of the Rotary Club of Dhaka PathFinders, said, "We are honoured to support the education of these 26 children at Mojar School.

Our mission is to create positive change in our community, and we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn and grow. Our support is a significant investment to the future of these young minds."
Mr. Arian Arif, founder and executive director of Odommo Bangladesh and Mojar School, said, "This is the largest support this school has ever received. This is a moment that shows that together we can make a difference and work toward a Street Child-Free Bangladesh."

The programme was also attended by Mr. Zeeshan Kingshuk Huq, admin director, and Ahmed Zafrul Hasan, president-elect and member of Mojar School.
