Two youths found dead in Cox's Bazar

Police on Friday recovered the bodies of two young men in Cox's Bazar's sadar upazila.

The bodies were recovered around 10 am from a canal at Upazila Khurushkul Manupara.
The deceased were Abdul Khalek and Yashin Arafat of Khurushkul area.

Khurushkul UP chairman Shahjahan Siddique said, "In the morning, local people spotted two bodies on the side of the canal and informed me. Then I informed police. The two youths were fishermen by profession. Two days ago, they returned from the sea after fishing. But I still can't say how they died. Police will be able to tell after autopsy.''

Officer-in-charge of Cox's Bazar Sadar Model Police Station Rockibuzzaman said the bodies of two fishermen have been recovered. Police are still at the scene.
