All set to hold Rangamati upazila elections

Elections of Rangamati Sadar Upazila Parishad are going to be held on Wednesday. Rangamati District Election Commission has completed all preparations on this occasion.

The process of reaching election equipment to the centers started since the morning. Police and Ansar members along with Presiding Officer, Assistant Presiding Officer from Rangamati election office have reached the centers with election equipment.
 
This year, five candidates are contesting for the post of chairman, six for vice chairman and three for female vice chairman are contesting in Rangamati Sadar Upazila Parishad election.

The total number of voters in Rangamati Sadar Upazila is 1,01,057. Out of which 53,544 male voters and 47,512 female voters and one third gender voter.
