CUMILLA, Apr 30: A seminar on Technical and Vocational Education was held in the district on Tuesday morning.
The seminar was initiated by Cumilla Polytechnic Institute. It was arranged in the institutes auditorium.
Joint Secretary of Technical and Madrasa Education Board Fatema Jahan was the chief guest virtually at the seminar.
Principal of the institute Md Lutfor Rahman presided over the seminar.
Computer Technology Departments Chief Instructor Engineer Mahabub Alam presented a keynote paper at the seminar.
Divisional Director of the Technical Education Board-Chattogram Kazi Faruq Ahmed, Principal of Cumilla Teachers Training College Professor Razia Sultana, Deputy Director of Higher Secondary Teachers Training Institute Md Kamruzzaman, General Secretary of IEB-Cumilla Centre Engineer Rahmat Ullah, former principal Nazir Ahmed, and Engineer Amirul Islam Chowdhury spoke as special guests at the seminar.
