DU student drowns at swimming pool

A student of Dhaka University drowned while taking a bath in its swimming pool on Monday.

The incident happened around 2:00 pm, said DU Physical Education Centre director Md Shahjahan Ali.
Deceased Muhammad Sawad, 19, was a first year student of Philosophy department and a resident of Haji Muhammad Mohsin Hall of the university.

The body was kept Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue, Shahjahan further said.
