Kulaura school teachers going abroad with false information

KULAURA, MOULVIBAZAR, Apr 16: Primary school teachers in Kulaura Upazila of the district are leaving for different countries including Britain, America and Canada, taking leave but declaring false information.   
Due to this, teachers crisis has been created in the upazila. Children are facing education problems.
According to sources at District Education Office, in the last one and a half year, about 50 primary teachers of Moulvibazar left for Canada and Britain and other countries on leave; after inquiry, District Education Office filed 23 divisional cases in this regard; and on charge of long time absence, 11 ones were terminated.   
A total of 23 assistant primary teachers of different upazilas have left the country on leave attained in the name sickness of relatives or parents; many of them didn take official passports.
To be permanent, teachers who have gone to different countries, are now following a new strategy; claiming their inabilities in their workplace, they are applying for quitting jobs, enclosing medical reports, so that they can enjoy different government facilities.             
Several guardians said, they never saw such hectic outing of teachers.
District Primary Education Officer Khorshed Alam said, most of the teachers, who left the country without permission, are staying in London, America, Canada and in different European countries; divisional sues have been filed against all of them; already, 11 of them have been terminated; and at the same time, 23 more divisional cases are on-going.
