Man found dead in Sherpur

Police recovered the half-decomposed body of a man from his house at Nalitabari upazila in Sherpur district on Thursday.

The deceased was Motalab Lalu, 50, son of late Rahman Ali, a resident of Rajnagar Signboard village in the upazila. 

Locals said they spotted the body inside the house and informed police

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sherpur District Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy, said Nalitabari Police Station officer in-charge Monirul Islam Bhuiyan.
An unnatural death (UD) case was filed with the police station in this regard, the OC added.
