Bus garage catches fire in Demra, 5 units working

A fire broke out at several Volvo buses parked in a garage in Dhaka's Demra on Monday evening.

The fire broke out at 8:50 pm on Monday, said warehouse inspector Anwarul Islam of Fire Service Control Department Headquarters.

Five firefighting units from Demra Fire Station and Siddique Bazar Fire Station are working to douse the fire, he added.

The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
