Jaya, Farin, Shohel bag Filmfare Awards Bangla in India

Three film artistes of the country Jaya Ahsan, Tasnia Farin and Shohel Mondol have been awarded at the Filmfare Awards Bangla held at the ITC Royal Bengal in Kolkata on Friday night.

Jaya Ahsan received the award in the Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Female, category for her role in the film 'Ardhangini', which has been directed by filmmaker Kaushik Ganguly, reports filmfare.com.

Tasnia Farin received the award in the Best Debut, Female, category for her role in filmmaker Atanu Ghosh-directed film 'Aaro Ek Prithibi' and Sohel Mondal bagged the award in the Best Debut, Male, category for his role in Indranil Roychowdhury-directed film 'Mayar Jonjal'.

Each year, the awards ceremony honours the artistes, filmmakers and storytellers, who impressed with their performances in Bengali-language films, mentions filmfare.com.
