College student stabbed dead in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM , Feb 27: A youth was stabbed to death by unidentified miscreants in Ananya residential area under Chandgaon police station in Chattogram city on Tuesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Shaon Barua,25, 2nd year (pass course) student of a college and son of Dipu Barua of Shilghata village in Satkania upazila. He used to work as a wedding photographer.

Deceased uncles Tapas Barua said Shaon left home with his camera and other equipment yesterday evening for taking photo of a wedding progamme and did not return home at night.

Jahidul Kabir, officer-in-charge of Chandgaon Police Station said they are investigating his death.    â€”UNB

The body was sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) morgue for autopsy, said the OC.
Legal action will be taken in this regard, he added.
