Man's body recovered in Gaibandha

Police recovered the body of an unidentified man from a beel at Gobindaganj upazila in Gaibandha district on Saturday noon.

The body was recovered around 12pm from the waterbody at Shital village under Nakai union of the upazila.
However, the details about the deceased could not be known immediately.

Gobindaganj Police Station OC Shamsul Alam Shah said local farmers spotted the body was floating in the waterbody and informed police.

Being informed by locals, police recovered the body from the spot and sent to a hospital morgue for autopsy, he said.

Efforts are on to find out the details about the body and the actual reason behind the death would be known after autopsy, added the OC.
