PriyoShop and LankaBangla Finance PLC recently signed an agreement to support retailers. This collaboration aims to provide financial solutions, specifically credit card access, benefiting PriyoShops retailers, says a press release.
The agreement was sealed by Asikul Alam Khan, PriyoShops Founder and CEO, and Khorshed Alam, SEVP and Head of Retail Business at LankaBangla Finance PLC.
Bangladesh boasts over 5 million retailers, contributing significantly to the countrys GDP, exceeding 30%.
PriyoShop initiated its journey to empower MSMEs and digitize their operations. During their collaboration, PriyoShop identified the major obstacle faced by these MSMEs: financial constraints hindering their ability to purchase goods, leading to loss of customers and opportunities.
In a bid to bolster their purchasing capacity, PriyoShop and LankaBangla have joined forces through this agreement.
