CHATTOGRAM, Dec 30: Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) distributed warm clothe among the helpless and cold-stricken people in a function organized at Jhanak Circle of CMP Lines in Dampara of the city on Saturday.
Chattogram Metropolitan Police Commissioner Krishna Pada Roy was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
On the occasion, CPDL handed over 1000 pieces of blankets to CMP and Community Policing Cell, Chattogram for distribution among the needy.
These blankets were distributed among the needy people of the city under the joint initiative of CMP and Metropolitan Community Policing Cell.
Among others, CMP Additional Commissioner of Police (Administration and Finance) MA Masud, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime and Operations) A S M Mahtab Uddin, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Abdul Mannan Miah, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Headquarters) Md Abdul Warish (Additional DIG), Ahid Siraj Chowdhury Swapan, Member Secretary Metropolitan Community Policing Cell, Engineer Iftekhar, Managing Director CPDL, Member of Metropolitan Community Policing Cell Zafar Islam and other senior officers of CMP were present on the occasion.
