Mysterious death of house help in Hatirpool

A female domestic help, who worked at a doctor's house in the city's Hatirpool area, died mysteriously at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) early Saturday.

Deceased Najma Khatun, 16, was critically injured and died at DMCH while undergoing treatment.
Shahbagh Police Station officer-in-charge Nur Mohammad said Najma was taken to the hospital in critical condition at around 11.30 pm on Friday. Later, she succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Investigation is on to know the actual reason behind the death and legal action would be taken further, the OC added.
