30 parties to join national elections: EC

Candidates from 30 out of 44 political parties in the country have submitted nomination papers to contest the upcoming national election scheduled to be held on January 7, 2024.

Election Commission confirmed the matter with a press notification on Thursday night.

It said a total of 2,741 candidates from 30 parities submitted nomination papers until last day.
