A two-member delegation headed by Turkish Ambassador to Bangladesh Ramis Sen visited Ukhiya Rohingya camp in Cox's Bazar on Wednesday.
Additional DIG Iqbal of 14 APBn, who is responsible for the law and order at the Rohingya camp, said the members of the delegation visited the Turkiye Diyanet Foundation Fatima Al-Fihri Model Girls School and Aylan Boys School and the Turkiye Diz Mimar Sinan School located in Rohingya Camp No-6 at Ukhiya on Wednesday.
During the visit, the Turkish Ambassador exchanged greetings with the teachers and students of the educational institutions. Other members of the Turkish delegation were Dr Umit and Nasi Yorulmaz.
At that time, officials of the Office of Refugee Relief and Repatriation, Camp in Charge, representatives of the United Nations Refugee Agency UNHCR were present.
On the other hand, New Zealand Deputy High Commissioner Brent Rapson and Policy Adviser Arpita Basu visited Rohingya camps. The APBn police on security duty said they visited the Rohingya Camp-4 in question yesterday.
