The second convocation of BGC Trust University Bangladesh will be held on Saturday at Chandanaish in Chattogram. Certificates will be awarded to 4,663 students in the convocation.
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni MP will preside over the convocation while former Chairman of University Grants Commission and former Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Professor Dr AK Azad Chowdhury will be present as the convocation speaker.
The university Vice-Chancellor Professor Professor Dr AFM Aowrangazab addresses this information at a press conference held at Chattogram Press Club on Wednesday.
Apart from this, Professor Dr Biswajit Chanda, Member of Bangladesh University Grants Commission and Engineer Afsar Uddin Ahmed, Founder of BGC Trust and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of BGC Trust University Bangladesh and former Member of Parliament will be present as special guests.
At that time, Professor Dr M Sarwar Uddin, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, the university Registrar Dr SM Shoaib, Media Committee Convener and Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering Department Abhijit Pathak, Media Committee Member Secretary and Acting Chairman of Journalism and Media Studies Department Yasir Silmy and Lecturer Sarwar Kamal were present at that time, among others.
