A total of nine fresh Covid-19 cases were reported in the country in the last 24 hours till Saturday morning.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) a total of 769 samples were tested across the country, for a positivity rate of 1.17 per cent.
The total number of coronavirus cases in the country reached 20, 45,661.
The official data showed that a total of 29,477 people in the country died due to the disease since the start of the pandemic in March of 2020.
According to the release, the total number of recoveries till Saturday reached 20, 13,260.
Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8, 2020, while its first death was on March 18 that year.
